Because of the set back with my original filming, i thought it would be best to change the location to a place more suitable for the level of editing i would need. I found a place at the back of my local park in Middleton Cheney, where there was a big open space of green, then with a forest like place behind with lots of trees and a long pathway where i could shoot long shots. I felt the big open space would create a suitable area to shoot the shots where I would have both characters in the shot. The use of the trees in the background created a good surrounding affect of being lost or isolated and also was a good location for the shooting of the magazine front cover and film poster for my ancillary tasks. Also because of the genre of my film, which is a psychological thriller, i had to ensure that i choose a day where the weather was grey and misty to create the effect of a dark atmosphere like i wanted.
Here are some pictures of the location. I really liked the green wood area which would work well as a contrast between having a nice natural setting, and then having the image of the scary female in the for ground.
